Goodie Bag/Race Packet INSERTS

In an effort to decrease unwanted unnecessary paper waste, the AFC Half Marathon will be utilizing a VIRTUAL GOODIE BAG, which successfully debuted at the 2009 Big Sur Half Marathon at Monterey Bay.

Here is how the Virtual Goodie Bag works:

  1. Brochures and coupons provided by sponsors and vendors will be accessible on the AFC Half Marathon website starting one month prior to the race.
  2. Each item in the virtual goodie bag will be linked to either a company's website or larger .pdf versions of the literature.
  3. The virtual goodie bag will also be directly emailed to over 25,000 registered participants, past participant and event fans.
  4. Each AFC News email blast, after the virtual goodie bag is operational, will contain links to the virtual goodie bag, providing multiple touchpoints for the program.
  5. For product samples, the event will distribute your product at either the Expo or Race Day Festival, plus your brochure or coupon will be included in the Virtual Goodie Bag with its enhanced distribution.

Sponsor Services, Inc. will not make final booth assignments until after August 1, 2010. Priority for booth assignments will be based on (1) date of receipt of booth application with full payment, and (2) number of years previously exhibiting at AFC Expo.

There is a $250 fee for cancellation of any booth reservation. No cancellations after August 1.
